How to apply a pre-cut window tint | Rolling Window

(calm music) – [Narrator] The following short video will show you in very simple stages how to apply a roll-down window piece from your precut window tinter kit When we receive your order our software sends the precise template for your vehicle to our cutting machine

All of our orders are supplied in reinforced postal tubes When you get your order the first step is to unroll the tint and roughly cut around each of the window patterns using a pair of scissors For the best results you will need one of our fitting kits containing a range of squeegees and cleaning tools You'll also need a spray bottle containing water mixed with a few drops of our tint slime solution A few cloths or paper towels will also come in handy

Using the soapy water give the outside of the window a quick clean Then, with the window rolled down an inch, clean the inside First using the razor blade to remove any dirt on the window Give the window another spray and squeegee away the dirty water to the edge of the window until the window is dry Give the squeegee a wipe with a paper towel after each pass

Spray the outside of the window with the soapy water and lay the tint on with the clear lining facing out towards you making sure it matches the shape of the glass Spray the inside of the window all over with the soapy water Carefully peel away the clear lining film about half way down and spray the exposed sticky side of the tint all over with the soapy water Holding the film at it's edges, take it inside the vehicle and place the sticky onto the window Align the top edge of the tint with the top edge of the window making sure there is a few millimeters gap from the edge and making sure the sides of the tint are aligned

Lightly spray the outside of the tint with soapy water to allow the squeegee to move freely Holding the tint in position with one hand start by gently squeegeeing out the water from behind the film working from the middle out towards the edge Once the film stays in position apply a harder force with the squeegee to remove all the remaining water Carefully wind up the window making sure the sides of the tint don't get caught Place one hand on the top section of the window to stop it peeling away and carefully remove the rest of the clear lining film

Spray the back of the tint where you have just removed the clear lining film and the window with soapy water Slide the tint down behind the bottom seal You can use a little chiseler to pull the seal away from the glass Smooth the film down with your fingers towards the bottom Spray the bottom half of the window with soapy water and squeegee out the water from behind the film working from the middle out towards the edges and that's all there is to it

Your vehicle and it's contents will be more private, protected against the sun's rays, and cooler in every sense of the word Happy motoring
